The above contact details as well as this data protection notice also apply if the responsible party operates under other internet presences (online shops, platforms, etc.).   1. Data processing for contact requests

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, your name and, if applicable, your telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to process your enquiry. Insofar as special categories of personal data (e.g. health data or other "sensitive" data) are concerned, the processing is carried out on the basis of your consent, which you have expressed by contacting us, in accordance with Art. 6 para 1 lit. a GDPR pursuant to Art. 9 para 2 lit. a GDPR.   1. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

In the case of merely informative use of the website, i.e. if you do not transmit any other information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. With regard to the storage of data in log files, the deletion or anonymisation takes place after 14 days at the latest.

In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk in relation to the browser you are using and which provide the party setting the cookie (in this case us) with certain information. Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer.

We use technically necessary cookies on our website in order to operate the website. These technically necessary cookies ensure that the website is usable by enabling basic functions.   1. Passing on of data

As a matter of principle, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties. Something else may apply if:

  • you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR,
  • the disclosure is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for disclosure in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, as well as
  • this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
  1. Data Storage

For the data processing carried out by us, we indicate in this data protection information in each case how long your personal data will be stored by us and when it will be deleted or blocked. If no explicit storage period is specified, your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose or legal basis for the storage no longer applies. In principle, your data will only be stored on our servers within the EU/EEA.

However, storage may take place beyond the specified time in the event of a (threatened) legal dispute with you or other legal proceedings or if storage is provided for by statutory regulations to which we are subject as the responsible party (e.g. Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB), Section 147 of the German fiscal code (AO)). If the storage period prescribed by legal regulations expires, your personal data will be blocked or deleted unless further storage by us is necessary and there is a legal basis for doing so.

  1. No obligation to provide personal data

In principle, there is also no legal or contractual obligation for you to provide us with your personal data; however, we may only be able to provide certain services to a limited extent or not at all if you do not provide us with the necessary data and/or do not give your consent to the processing.

We use the widespread SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in connection with the highest encryption level supported by your browser when visiting the website. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can see whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

You can assert your rights as a data subject with regard to your processed personal data at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided at the beginning of this document. As a data subject, you have the right:

  1. request information about your data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or the right to object, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
  2. in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to request without delay the correction of inaccurate or the completion of your data stored by us;
  3. pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  4. pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is contested by you or the processing is unlawful;
  5. pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller ("data portability");
  6. object to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, provided that the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e GDPR (safeguarding public interests) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller). This is particularly the case if the processing is not necessary to fulfil a contract with you. In the event of your justified objection, we will review the situation and either discontinue or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling reasons worthy of protection on the basis of which we will continue the processing;
